RCAP Demonstration League – @Home Simulation
The software for RCAP Demonstration League – @Home Simulation is available from GitHub.
Installation and software manual are available here.
The purpose of the RoboCup Rescue Simulation league is twofold. First, it aims to develop develop simulators that form the infrastructure of the simulation system and emulate realistic phenomena predominant in disasters. Second, it aims to develop intelligent agents and robots that are given the capabilities of the main actors in a disaster response scenario.
It is highly likely that Industry 4.0 will realize the Smart Factory, where human workers are assisted by mobile robots, or mobile manipulators, equipped with industrial robot arms. Envisioning such a future, competitors in RoboCup@Work compete in robot technology. Robot arms built on a mobile mechanism incorporating wheels or similar parts detect and collect parts and transport them to their destinations.

The RoboCup Soccer Simulation 2D is one of the oldest of the RoboCup Soccer competitions. It is based on the RoboCup Soccer Simulator that enables two teams of 11 simulated autonomous robots plus an autonomous coach agent to play a game of soccer with very realistic rules and game play. Due to its stability the RoboCup Soccer Simulator is a very good research and educational tool for multiagent systems, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
