RCAP CoSpace Rescue

In the RoboCup Asia-Pacific (RCAP) CoSpace Rescue Challenge, teams are required to build a real robot, develop and program appropriate strategies for both real and virtual autonomous robots to navigate through the real and virtual worlds and collect objects, while competing with another team’s robot that is also searching and collecting objects in the same real and virtual worlds.

In Virtual RCAP 2020, only virtual robot will be used.

    • Deadline for online registration

4 September 2020 (Friday):

    • U12 group Deadline for submission of  PPT and 1st video presentation.
    • U19 & Univeristy group Deadline for submission of  PPT, 1st video presentation, and TDP.

5 September 2020 (Saturday):

    • Warm Up through International CoSpace Online [iCooL] Challenge Server.
    • The purpose of this Warm Up is to help participants familiarize themselves with Virtual Challenge procedures.
    • This Warm Up will be in a 24 Hour format (between 00:00 – 23:59 GMT) and participants can drop in anytime.

12 September 2020 (Saturday):

    • Preliminary Round will be in a 24 Hour format (between 00:00 – 23:59 GMT)

18 September 2020 (Friday):

    • Announcement of Finalists

23 September 2020 (Wednesday):

    • Deadline of 2nd Video Presentation submission by Finalists

26 OR 27 September 2020 (Saturday OR Sunday):

    • Online interview for Finalists (10 – 20 minutes)

    • 0900 – 1200 GMT: RCAP CoSpace Rescue Challenge Finals (via Zoom).
